In the Game
Open Settings → Delete my account and confirm. If your account is linked to Apple or Google, you confirm by signing in with Apple or Google again; otherwise you type a confirmation word. This protects you from someone else deleting your account on a phone you lent them.
Your deletion is then scheduled: from that moment your account is hidden from every leaderboard and friends list and can no longer be played, and after 14 days it is erased from our server. The Game shows you the date. Copies in our backups are gone within 14 more days. If your account is linked to Apple, we also revoke the Game’s Sign in with Apple access when you confirm.
Changing your mind
Until the date shown, you can keep your account: open the Game on that phone and choose Keep my account, or sign in with Apple or Google (on any device) if your account is linked. The Game then loads your account back from our server, as it was.
Without the Game
If you no longer have the Game, or your account is suspended, email support@combomint.com with the subject “Delete my account”, and include one of:
- your friend code (shown at the bottom of Settings), or
- your nickname, if you chose one, and, if you bought anything, the order ID from Apple’s receipt email.
The friend code is the surest way to find your account: every account has one, and an account that never chose a nickname has nothing else we can look it up by. Because friend codes and nicknames can be seen by others, we will ask you to show that the account is yours before deleting it. We delete it within 30 days and write back when it is done.
What is deleted
Your account, your nickname if you had one, sign-in links, progress, scores, cloud copy of your game, coins (including coins you bought), cats, items, friends, blocks, reports and support messages, and any account that was combined into it. Once it is erased this cannot be undone, and coins and items cannot be restored or refunded. Copies in our backups are gone within 14 days of the erasure.
What is kept
Purchase records, the coin history and refund notices are kept as long as accounting and tax law require (up to 7 years), and records of moderation and support actions for up to 3 years. They are disconnected from your account. Pseudonymous game statistics, which were never linked to your account, are deleted after 365 days, and server logs after 30 days.
The Game on your device starts over at once, when you confirm: its progress, coins and cats are cleared, and only your settings (language, sound, notifications) and your age answer stay. If you keep your account within the 14 days, the Game loads it back from our server. Once your account has been erased, if you keep playing, the Game creates a new, empty account for you the next time it goes online, with no name and nothing from the account you deleted.
